What springs to mind when you think about accessibility?
Compliance? Best practices? Something else?
I hope that as you explore my virtual home, words like joy, delight, and liberation are among those that come to mind whenever you think about ‘access’.
Here’s the thing: we’re often told accessibility is important. But it’s usually framed as a courtesy or goodwill gesture—the “fortunate” providing for the “unfortunate.” This framing conceals the true importance of accessibility, as well as its roots in capitalist and colonial systems.
In reality:
a) Accessibility is about identifying ways that we might be harming others because we’ve defined certain characteristics as a problem, rather than a phenomena, and excluded them as a result.
b) A lack of accessibility doesn’t just harm those who are excluded—it holds back businesses and society. It shuts out those whose perspectives and lived experiences uniquely position them to lead innovation—both in the workplace and the world.
This is why my work focuses on re-humanizing systems, enabling both people and businesses to thrive.

We build frameworks that invite people to bring their most authentic selves to your space, experience or workplace. Here, people feel free to share their unique stories, perspectives, and ideas. This environment nurtures the confidence to think creatively, challenge outdated norms, and make meaningful contributions. This is how innovation takes root and systems evolve—when people feel valued, supported, and inspired to show up fully.
Accessibility often means making room for the new and sometimes the unknown. Accommodating diverse needs requires flexibility, but to enable this, we need stability that doesn’t stifle growth. My work centers on identifying or creating foundational structures that support resilience and adaptability. By strengthening these pillars, we create safe ground from which innovation and systems change can emerge. This way, flexibility isn’t chaotic; it’s a pathway for sustainable transformation.
One meaningful way to measure the impact of your accessibility practices? People feel the care you’ve put into your workplace, space, or experience. They feel joy and delight because they know they’ve been seen, their needs have been met, and they feel valued. You’ll hear it in their feedback, see it in reviews, and note it in the way that they share their experience with others. Your commitment builds a reputation that reaches beyond the direct impact that you have on your community, inspiring others to do the same.
Post-capitalism isn’t just a radical fantasy—it’s a shift away from prioritizing wealth and power above all else, including people, the planet, and life itself. In the world of work, it means moving beyond the fears driven by capitalist demands, such as unrealistic productivity expectations and exploitative labor practices. Instead, it’s about reimagining how people and businesses can thrive together. This could mean flexible hours, shorter workdays, or more sustainable working conditions. At its core, post-capitalism is about creating a future where success is measured not just by profit, but by well-being, balance, and regeneration.

They provide a clear-eyed assessment of workplace accessibility challenges and expertly guide clients through the complex, imagination-driven work of creating authentic solutions. Their guidance is honest, courageous, and exactly what I needed to start doing better with my business and in the community.

Unruly Spaces
The most valuable part of this process for us was having their experience and perspective as a sounding board throughout. The participants in the focus groups found Anuradha's facilitation style gentle, expert and considered, and were very positive about the experience. As a result of our work, our approach to procurement has definitely changed. Anuradha's provocations around intentionality have definitely given us the confidence and direction needed to move forward.

Therapist
The intake process provided the guidance I needed even before any strategic support. Anuradha pointed out my strengths and challenges with so much care and provided guidance on how to manage them. What I especially loved was the action steps that felt aligned. Anuradha provided a truly personalized approach.

Anuradha was so generous and covered everything I was hoping for, plus much more. Their ability to create a container of immediate trust and expansive possibility made the work that much easier to receive. Trancendent and grounded. Playful and serious. Thank you so much.
The Lost Wildness
I was really pleased with the outcomes of the work during our re-brand and new website design for accessibility. I certainly felt as though I got what I needed and felt really happy with the end outcomes - to formalise our approach to DEIA and communicate it with our community. Being asked key questions about my approach, values etc really helped me to think about my 'why'. I feel more confident that our brand and website is accessible and I feel proud of our DEIA commitment.

Fair Collective
I had only cracked the door open to the immense amount of work I needed to do make my art business accessible during a time where there is so much separation between who gets to make art and collect art, and who does not. I felt frozen and Anuradha made the work clearly approachable, breaking down the work in line with the my capacity. I feel confident moving forward with transparency about who I am, what my values are, and how I want to share my art in world. I have deep gratitude for Anuradha and their ability to see the big picture and break it down into bite size pieces.

Many individuals and organizations fundamentally misunderstand accessibility as something that only relates to disabled or visibly disabled individuals. True accessibility, however, is rooted in disability justice frameworks based on the social model of disability and applies an intersectional lens to ensure inclusivity for all.
If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s how essential accommodations are to support ourselves, our teams, our clients, and our communities. Yet, we often overlook cultural, linguistic, racial, neurodivergent, and body-size needs, among other barriers.
There’s never going to be a perfect time to start this process. It’s going to be messy, uncomfortable, and at times, maybe even overwhelming. But starting now is always better than doing nothing at all.

Anuradha's dedication to creating learning resources that are accessible and culturally responsive went above and beyond. Our team consistently felt rejuvenated and more deeply connected to the work through this project. They created not only a well developed and curated training, but also supported building a collaborative environment where all ideas were welcomed and considered in order to ensure that the final product was put together as effectively as possible. As a result of this project, our team will be able to share resourcing that will enable more family leadership voices to be heard in government advisory councils and boards.
